SUMMER BRIDGE FOR RISING 9TH GRADERS

The Summer Bridge Program is designed to help our incoming 9th graders make a smooth transition from middle school to high school, both academically and socially. Many 9th graders struggle academically and do not earn all the necessary credits to move to 10th grade after their first year. This may cause them to be ineligible to graduate with their peers. Our goal at Druid Hills High School is to provide the support and the tools necessary to have your child graduate in May 2023.

The goals of the Summer Bridge Program are:

  • =         To orient students to our campus and provide opportunities for students to build relationships with teachers, counselors, administrators, and peers.
  • =         Tools and techniques on how to be successful in high school.
  • =         Learn about our clubs, organizations, and sport teams.
  • =         Get their class schedule and know where their classes are located.
  • =         Have fun and be excited about starting the 2019-2020 school year.
